The list, compiled by Lucozade Sport and judged by sports experts and stars including heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua and England Lioness footballer Nikita Parris, highlights individuals who are most influential in getting the UK to be more active. Featured at number 13, Dan Edwardes founded Parkour Generations in 2005, which is now the leading authority on parkour education. PKGen has become a multi-national organisation that runs coaching certifications, school programmes, workshops and major events in more than 45 countries around the world; engaging new communities to get active and seek better ways of moving for health and wellbeing, both mental and physical.
The Movers List is released alongside new research from Lucozade Sport that shows 75 per cent of people have made a conscious effort to exercise more regularly and for longer in the past year. 73 per cent say their motivation to move more is to keep physically fit and 58 per cent say they undertake sport and exercise to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
