Parkour For Schools Hits Suffolk
This month sees the latest Parkour For Schools training day coming to North Suffolk, with a packed out course for PE teachers from the region happening on April 30th at Elm Tree Primary School in Lowestoft.
With the demand for parkour in schools rising exponentially around the world, we’re always working hard to provide for the demand across the UK as well. We began the teaching of parkour in schools in the UK way back in 2006 and have seen it go from strength to strength ever since.
The Parkour For Schools Programme, officially endorsed by afPE, provides both staff training and direct coaching in both Primary and Secondary Schools, helping pupils acquire healthy, fundamental motor skills which provide a solid base for movement and skill acquisition in any sport or activity they want to embrace. Our programmes are founded on the principle of non-linear pedagogy and constraints-led practice of motor skills, utilising a strong element of games-based learning as well.
