New Video: Rendezvous XI Barefoot Edition
We know it’s cold out there… so we thought we’d warm the cockles of your hearts with a little look back at this summer’s awesome RDVXI International Parkour Gathering in London.
Set in 3 days of glorious sunshine in August, RDVXI was the Barefoot Edition and enabled people to transition between barefoot and shod training to gradually acclimatize to this kind of movement. And they loved it, as you can see…
Bringing barefoot science experts Jessi Stensland and Karl Sterling over from the USA as well as international guest coaches from the parkour world like Sasa Sevo, Marcello Palozzo and Evan Beyer, and one of the founders of parkour / art did deplacement itself, Yann Hnautra, combined with the elite Master Coaches of PKGen UK, the event had an unbeatable combination of knowledge, skill and experience.
With participants from over 20 countries over three days of training ranging from our own Chainstore Gym to London’s best parkour spots to the trees of Hampstead Heath, Rendezvous XI was another epic addition to the longest running parkour event in the world.
You can also see our galleries of incredible photographs of the event by master parkour photographer Andy ‘Kiell’ Day here.
