Introduction to Parkour Course: Sept 9 – Oct 14
This is a 6-week course running on consecutive Saturday evenings from September 9th to October 14th at London’s Chainstore Gym and Parkour Academy. Sessions run from 6-8pm and we recommend attending all 6 sessions to gain the maximum benefit from the structured format of the course.
The Introduction to Parkour Course will focus on:
+ Basic concepts and foundation movements of parkour
+ Learning and applying new movements in different environments
+ Understanding fear and improving response
+ Learning how to progress and train effectively
+ Creativity and challenge-oriented training
+ Building practical strength, mobility and fitness for movement
No experience in parkour, fitness or movement training of any kind is required. This course is accessible for complete beginners, though will also be useful for those with some experience in movement, fitness and/or parkour in terms of reinforcing fundamental skills and attributes.
