Morzine 2016 Begins…
This is it. Sunday is day one of this year’s summer training camp in Morzine, and several brave souls will be arriving in Geneva to be taken to Morzine Village for a week of parkour training in the mountains and woodlands of the French Alps.
This year’s camp sold out – sorry to those of you who were disappointed. Better luck next time! But all is not lost – we have our other major summer event coming up right here in London.
Rendezvous XI: Barefoot Edition is coming up on 12th to 14th August and it is going to be HUGE. With special guests from France, Croatia, Italy and the USA, you can expect world class coaching in parkour – with the opportunity of a barefoot twist. Don’t worry if you’re not used to barefoot training yet – the whole weekend will be barefoot encouraged, not enforced. Barefoot sessions will be spread out over the weekend, and you are free to put your shoes back on at any time to give your feet a break. Barefoot style shoes will also be welcome!
We’re also opening things up to younger practitioners this year. While the main event will be for ages 14 and up, we will be having a special ‘Kids Day’ for practitioners aged 7-13. This will take place at the same outdoor location as the main RDVXI event that day (which will be announced via email to attendees in due course). Open to all ability levels, with special guests, fun challenges, parkour games and our usual top notch coaching team, this will be something your young traceur won’t want to miss!
Spaces are limited, particularly for the Friday afternoon and evening events. We’d advise getting your spot confirmed as soon as possible if you don’t want to miss out!
