Jump Westminster Showing in Spain The acclaimed documentary by Julie Angel and Parkour Coaching, Jump Westminster, is to be featured in the Spanish arts festival 'Actual'. The documentary has captured the attention of many international groups and is now being translated into several different languages for showings around the world. Friday 28th of September 2007
This weekend Parkour Coaching hits Italy to run a two-day seminar in Prato along with the APKI. Stephane, Kazuma, Thomas and Cisco will lead the sessions which will be attended by over 100 budding traceurs. Promises to be an incredible event... Thursday 27th of September 2007
Redline Films Project a Success Last week saw Redline Films following Ryan Ford as he met and trained with the Yamakasi in Paris and Stephane and Seb in Lisses. The project was a great success, with Ryan introduced to the training methods of the French traceurs in their own backyard. He threw himself into it and gave his all, which impressed the guys no end, and some excellent footage will result from the shoot. Thursday 27th of September 2007
New schools hit the ground running Last week saw Parkour Coaching running the initial session for Christ Church Bentinck School in London, and with around 30 students taking part the class was a great success and enjoyable for both coaches and kids. This week Hallfield Junior School takes off, with a couple more to follow soon after. Monday 24th of September 2007
Parkour Coaching is set to engage in a video shoot for the Royal Bank of Scotland, and we will be involving Daniel Ilabaca in the project. Danny has already taken up a few coaching projects in the north of England for us, and has proven himself as competent in that area as he is in the practise of the art itself. The Redline Films project begins tomorrow with the production crew from the American film company along with a young American traceur meeting the Yamakasi in Paris for training, teaching and shooting. Then on the 23rd of this month they go on to spend a day with Stephane and Seb for more of the same. It promises to be an amazing experience for the visiting traceur, and should produce some fantastic footage of several of the best French practitioners in their own backyard. Corsham Workshop, Saturday 22nd This Saturday we will be running another series of workshops in Wiltshire, this time as part of the Corsham Alternative Sports Event. The event will run from 10.30am to 4pm and is located just off Valley Road. There has been a great response from the community and another huge turnout is expected. Friday 21st of September 2007
The second day of shooting for the Il Ponte video came to a close today with a mountain of great footage in the bag and some excellent photographs to boot. The team had a great time on this shoot, and huge thanks go out to Francesco and the whole production crew, and also to Julie Angel and her assistant Alli Shelton for making the filming run so smoothly. Schools Parkour Programme to Expand Again Parkour Coaching will now be running weekly classes for the students of Hallfield Junior School and Christ Church Bentinck School in London. These are the latest two schools to join our Schools Parkour programme, with another three waiting in the wings to jump on board. We will be delivering the Parkour AQA Accreditation at all of the schools again this year, and the programme only looks set to go from strength to strength. Thursday 20th of September 2007
The video shoot for Italian fashion company Il Ponte got underway today with Steph, Forrest, Seb and Chris dressed to the nines and running riot in London town. With Julie Angel directing and filming, the shots were nailed efficiently and effectively with the second day of filming still to come tomorrow. Thursday 20th of September 2007
The Parkour Academy is thriving and continues to go from strength to strength. Due to demand for more classes in different locations, we will most likely soon be opening another class on Tuesday evenings at the brand new Academy Sports Centre on the Harrow Road. Lisses traceur Seb Goudot will be joining us in London next week for a few days to take part in the shoot we are doing for Il Ponte, the Italian fashion company. This month the New York based television and movie production company Red Line Films will be coming to France to shoot the Yamakasi in Paris and Stephane and Seb in Lisses and cover their interaction with a young American traceur accompanying the production crew. Friday 14th of September 2007
We'd like officially to welcome Dom Willoughby to the Parkour Coaching team, though he has in fact been enforcing respect of the line for well over a year now! Disciplined, thoughtful and dedicated, Dom has proven himself time and again as a practitioner and instructor. He'll be dishing out his own brand of pain in the Academy for a long time to come... The final day of the MTV Base shoot was a huge success, with the Parkour Coaching Team joined by Academy regulars to create some fantastic new footage for a series of television idents. The idents will be showing for the whole of the month of October on MTV Base, and will also be shown on this website in due course. Wednesday 12th of September 2007
Swindon Workshop Event, 15th September This Saturday Parkour Coaching will be running an open workshop event in Swindon from 1-5pm. The workshops will be held in the Old Town, inside the park off Quarry Road. The event is open to allcomers, so just turn up on the day and jump in! No pun intended. Tuesday 11th of September 2007

Girls' Jam Sunday 16th September Proving a great success and an excellent environment in which to practise alongside some highly dedicated and experienced traceuses, the open access Girls' Jams are now being held twice a month. The next women-only training session will be this Sunday the 16th of September, from late morning onwards. This week sees the restart of the popular London school classes, offering parkour as a sports option within the curriculum with the students able to pick up an AQA accreditation if they pass. Now with 5 schools involved on a weekly basis, the programme looks set to grow and grow.. Monday 10th of September 2007
Westminster University Workshops On the 18th and 19th of September Parkour Coaching will begin running workshops for London's Westminster University, with the aim being to develop an ongoing course for the students there. More news to follow... Monday 10th of September 2007

Wiltshire College Fresher's Fair Today Parkour Coaching is delivering workshops and presentations on parkour at Wiltshire College's Freshers' Fair, introducing the discipline to an entire new year of student intake. We'll be showing video footage, giving some brief talks and demonstrations and allowing the braver students to try their hand at some taster sessions... Tuesday 04th of September 2007
September/October will see Parkour Coaching engaging in a ground-breaking project with award-winning artist Layla Curtis, who has been commissioned by the City of Westminster to create a piece of art focussing on alternative paths through the urban landscape.
