The Chainstore Gym and Parkour Academy

The Chainstore Gym is the UK’s first and only dedicated parkour/freerunning centre.

Situated in East London just minutes from Canary wharf and right across the river from the iconic O2 Arena, The Chainstore Gym is open every day of the week and houses bespoke training facilities for parkour, functional fitness, weightlifting and other physical activities.

Whether you are dropping in to use the space for your own training, attending one of our daily parkour or fitness classes or taking part in one of our QCF coaching or personal trainer certifications, The Chainstore Gym is the perfect place to learn the art of movement and to get strong, fit, fast and agile.

Parkour Zone (14m x 14m)

The Chainstore houses the UK’s only true indoor parkour training zone, designed to mimic the conditions of the outside world in terms of materials, feel and atmosphere. Metal, concrete and wood are the surfaces commonly dealt with in parkour and that is what makes up the structures inside the Chainstore, ensuring you get the full experience of parkour as you practice and learn.

Functional Fitness Gym (12m x 5m)

The Chainstore also holds London’s best-equipped functional strength and fitness gym-space, complete with squat racks, lifting platforms, kettlebells, tractor tyres, prowlers, ropes, sledge-hammers and all the weight you could ever hope to move. This isn’t a spa: it’s a place to develop true functional strength and fitness amidst the hardest-training community in the UK.

Open Movement Zone (12m x 7m)

We have an open space covered by the latest rubber matting, ideal for any form of movement practice. We also have a hire option for this space, so if you are looking to run a class of any sort in the area and need a decent flat space to work with, please contact us directly at any time.

Observation Deck

During breaks between training sessions you can relax and watch the action from our elevated observation deck and chill-out zone.

The World’s Leading Parkour & Fitness Coaches

The Chainstore will be the best place to find the most experienced team of parkour coaches in the world, with a huge knowledge-base spanning many areas of physical fitness, movement skills and strength training. There will always be someone on hand to help you out with any questions, problems or challenges you are facing, as well as offering full private coaching & personal training sessions whenever you may need them.

As a member or visitor of the Chainstore Gym you can also enjoy free WiFi and access to tea, coffee, protein shakes and health foods to support your training.
