The Night Missions are all-night guided training events in London in which you and your group will explore both the city and your own limits. The Night Missions begin at 9pm, starting from our Chainstore Gym in East London, and end with the sunrise the next morning. You’ll be challenged in ways you can’t predict and brought face to face with mental blocks, barriers and adversity of all kinds as you and your team work together to find solutions to the tasks our expert Night Mission Guides present.
The Night Mission Challenge is a group experience, not a race. Think of it as an insight into an element of parkour training where – from start to finish — one of our elite parkour guides will challenge, teach and inspire your small team on the night to do more than you ever thought possible.
Teamwork is demanded on these all-night missions that span the best of London, and you will see parts of the city that you never knew existed. It’s exploration, discovery, challenge, endurance, movement and fun – all in one night. Then you get the whole weekend to recover.
The Night Missions happen on the first Friday of every third month. Booking is individual, completion is collective. We recommend signing up with a friend but you don’t have to. Either way, you will leave with a group of new friends for life, people whom you have inspired to go further and who have inspired you to work harder than ever before. The Night Missions are open to all levels of ability and experience, though we recommend you try a few of our regular Classes to get an understanding of the world you’re about to dive headlong into.
What to Bring?
– Small backpack/rucksack
– Water: hydration bladder is a good idea
– Snacks: healthy bars, fruit, seeds, etc.
– Spare pair of socks
– Spare layers for warmth if needed
– Waterproof layer
– Compass, if possessed
– Torch or headlamp might be useful
– Taxi fare in case of having to find your way home early
We start from our Headquarters in London, the Chainstore Gym & Parkour Academy. You will meet your parkour guide there, get to know your group and then head off into the night as a unit. You will stay with your team the duration of the Night Mission. Your team and your guide will be with you the entire time until you have completed the Mission and forged a better body and mind, emerging as a different person the next morning.
The Night Missions happen on Friday evenings every few months. They begin at 21:00 in the evening from the Chainstore Gym & Parkour Academy and run until the following morning.
We start and finish together. We expect everyone to complete the night and see the sunrise with a new perspective on life. We show them what they can do and how far they can push themselves – together, as a team. It’ll be hard, and long, but we’ll do our best get you through it and we promise that you will never see your city the same way again.
Can Anyone Take Part?
Yes! This isn’t a test of your ability or experience in parkour. All challenges will be scaled for everyone’s capabilities. However, you will need enough raw stamina to keep going for 8-9 hours. It’s a team effort, so we’ll get you through it if you have the willpower 😉
The Night Mission Challenge is an unreasonable undertaking and you assume responsibility for all risk associated with it, to you and/or your possessions, even though you do not know what exactly is in store for you and your team.
Anything you choose to do or not do is voluntary on your part – we will not force you to do anything. However, if you choose to leave early, quit or outright refuse an aspect of the challenge then you will be deemed not to have completed the Night Mission.
How do I sign up?
Registration is through Teamup, our timetable software. You will need to click here to create an account with us. Once signed up and logged in, click the link below to be taken to the registration screen, and click ‘Enroll’ on your date of choice to register. Please note that you must pay online in advance – you can not choose to pay cash on the day.
Please note ticket purchases are non-refundable and that no paper ticket is needed for the event, once you’ve paid then your name is added to the register behind the scenes. You will be on the list when you arrive in the evening, so all you need to do is show up and visit the reception desk.
